    2. I just finished a Thai cooking class, taught by a native, which focused on using prepared sauces along with fresh produce, meats, and seafood. I went into the class already owning this book (and its sister, Real Vegetarian Thai) and am greatly pleased to report that this book nailed everything. The author provides recipes for from-scratch curry pastes but prepared sauces yielded excellent results and each recipe I tried was spot-on and beyond tasty.     3. Some of the recipes are better than others. I was disappointed in the Phad Thai recipe, but the Yellow Curry is really yummy (just add more vegetables like red peppers, bamboo shoots, etc.). And the Beef Waterfall Salad is fabulous as is the Mango Sticky Rice. YUM! I'm hungry now. :)
